The Wood

This particular slab came from a 150-year-old black walnut tree harvested in Pennsylvania. The live edges preserve the natural contours of the tree, with the bark carefully removed and the edge stabilized to prevent checking while maintaining its organic character.

Design Philosophy

The table pairs the organic, flowing lines of the natural edge with a clean, minimalist steel base. The powder-coated steel U-legs provide sturdy support while allowing the wood to be the star of the show.
